Email Connection - for Email to Screen

FireText works with any POP3 email account. So any emails that your audience sends to your designated email account that you enter within FireText, will be received and processed by FireText. The incoming emails will be shown within your inbox of your FireText Administrator software, where you can then send it to your display screens. FireText can also process the images that are sent within the emails, and will display them within your Images Folder.

Follow the steps outlined below on how to get a keyword and connect it with your FireText Software:

  • Entering your POP3 Email account settings
  • Setting up SSL and enabling your email account.

We recommend that you setup a seperate email account to handle emails specifically for your video screens.

If you haven't already, Download, Install and Register for your License FireText Download Page.

  1. Open up your FireText Administrator then Select Prefences Menu, Social Menu Option.
  2. Within the Social Preferences Panel, under Electronic Mail Category, enter your POP Email Settings.
  3. Check the "emailing" box. This is so you can enable and display email without having to clear and re-enter your login and password. If you're using SSL, check the SSL boxes as needed.
  4. Choose Apply then OK to close the Preferences Panel
  5. Choose the File Menu, and select START, any new emails to your account will arriving in your inbox.

Once setup your email account settings, you will see your emails within the FireText Inbox.
