Twitter Connection - for Tweet to Screen
FireText works with Twitter. So any Twitter tweet that your audience mentions your @Twitter account, #hashtag or sends a @reply will be received and processed by FireText. The incoming tweets will be shown within your special twitter inbox of your FireText Administrator software, where you can then send it to your display TV screens. FireText can also process the avatars / account images that are sent within the tweets, and will display them within your text to screen feed.
Follow the steps outlined below on how to get a keyword and connect it with your FireText Software:
- Entering your Twitter account settings
- Additional Settings for your Twitter Campaign.

If you haven't already, Download, Install and Register for your License FireText Download Page.
- Open up your FireText Administrator then Select Prefences Menu, Social Menu Option.
- Within the Social Preferences Panel, under Twitter, enter your Twitter Account Settings.
- Check the "Tweeting" box. This is so you can enable and display email without having to clear and re-enter your login and password.
- Choose Apply then OK to close the Preferences Panel
- Choose the File Menu, and select START, any new emails to your account will arriving in your inbox.
Where your Tweets appear
Once you've setup your Twitter account settings, you will see your Tweets within the FireText Tweets Manager. You can manually select the Tweets you like by selecting them, then choosing "Send to Screen"

FireText Software has additional features where you can customize your Twitter to Screen campaign. These settings are using the Preferences / Social tab within your FireText Administrator.
Tweeting - Activates the Twitter Feed, this is so you may add your Twitter Login and Password without the need to delete it if you do not wish to display twitter messages within FireText.
Friendly Crowd - This feature, if enabled means if you got a reply from anyone you will auto add him/her to your Twitter friend list
Self Tweeting - Your own tweets will be also sent to screen when received by FireText.
Push @replies - Any mentions of your @screenname will be displayed within your Text feed which means they can participate in voting campaigns, text info campaigns and more.
Manual Mode - Your Twitter Tweets will be fed into your TWEETS manager, you can view your tweets within the Tweets manager and approve the ones you would like sent to the screen. This is if you require super moderation.
Strict Keyword Tracking - If this box is checked, only the messages containing the below keywords will be displayed within your twitter feed.
Status - That displays Twitter Server Status
